Do Pump, a Chinese manufacturer and supplier of dredging pumps and dredging equipment, delivered their CSD 500 dredge pump to Bangladesh recently.

According to Do Pump, the dredging project is located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

“This CSD 500 dredge pump works at 3500 cubic meters per hour in total, at a transfer distance of 1.500 meters. The impeller of CSD 500 pump is closed type, with 1270 mm diameter, 5 blades and 125 mm particle pass ability,” the Shijiazhuang based company stated in its announcement.

In order to increase navigability of the country’s rivers and ensure smooth waterway communication, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has started the process of procuring 55 new dredgers, including Do Pumps’ equipment in this capital dredging plan.

Do Pump has established pump business with this customer since 2014, and one CSD 500 – delivered in 2014 – has been working for the customer without any pump parts repaired.
