Norwegian vessel owner Olympic Subsea has been awarded new contracts for three of its vessels.
Olympic informed on Wednesday it had entered into an agreement for the vessel Olympic Triton for a period for 12 months with further options.
The contract is in West Africa for an international oil company and it is set to start in the second quarter of 2019.
The 2007-built Olympic Triton is a multi-functional subsea vessel with a large deck area and large cargo capabilities for most operations. The vessel is equipped with diesel-electric machinery which ensures low noise levels and low fuel consumption. It is also is equipped with a gangway system.
In addition, Olympic Artemis and Olympic Intervention IV have each been awarded a two-month contract with further options within the renewable market.
The company noted that, for the 2019 season, its revenues within the renewable market will represent a larger share than the revenues from oil & gas.
