South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries said it has secured an order for a liquefied natural gas carrier pair.

The company informed on Friday that the order for two liquefied natural gas carriers is worth 450 billion South Korean won ($380 million).

The company said the pair is set for delivery by the end of June 2022.

With the addition of the latest order for a buyer registered in the Bermuda region, SHI has seen its orders for LNG carriers reach 10 units, despite the shrinking shipbuilding order numbers across the globe.

In total, the shipbuilder has booked 11 orders in 2019 so far totaling $3 billion, with the one additional vessel being an FPSO, the statement reads.

SHI said the total represents 38 percent of the company’s target for the year.
