GasLog’s newbuild LNG carrier launched at Samsung Heavy

Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog said the construction of its newbuild tanker HN2213 at the South Korean Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard.

Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog said the construction of its newbuild tanker HN2213 at the South Korean Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard.

The shipper said in its brief statement that the vessel was launched at the shipyard at the end of last month.

The delivery of HN2213, to be named GasLog Windsor, is scheduled for April 2020.

Once completed, the vessel will be capable of transporting 180,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel and will feature two-stroke diesel engines with low-pressure gas injection (LP-2S).
