Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States increased week on week, Energy Information Administration said in its report.
EIA stated in its weekly report that ten LNG vessels, six from Sabine Pass, two from Cove Point, and two from Corpus Christi departed from the United States between June 6 and June 12.
The eight vessels held a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 36.0 bcf.
The EIA also stated that one vessel was loading at the Sabine Pass terminal on Wednesday, June 12.
It is worth noting that Kinder Morgan—the developer of the Elba Island liquefaction export terminal near Savannah, Georgia—announced a delay in the start-up of the terminal as a result of unspecified technical issues.
Elba Island will use ten small-scale movable modular liquefaction units with a combined capacity of 0.33 bcf/d.
