Spanish LNG provider Molgas Energia completed the first liquefied natural gas bunkering operation in the port of Huelva.

According to a social media post by Molgas Energia’ COO Juan Menchero , the company supplied 80 tons of liquefied natural gas.

The chilled fuel was delivered via a truck-to-ship method to the 186-meter LNG-fueled ferry carrier Napoles, owned by Balearia.

Menchero also said that the bunkering operation was completed in collaboration with Spanish LNG operator Naturgy, previously Gas Natural Fenosa.
