South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal in the United Kingdom is scheduled to receive a cargo from Qatar.
One of the largest LNG carriers in the world, Nakilat’s 266,000-cbm Shagra, is scheduled to dock at the terminal’s jetty on June 22, the port authority’s data reveals.
The vessel, built by the South Korean shipbuilder, Samsung Heavy Industries, passed through the Strait of Gibraltar entering the North Atlantic, VesselsValue’s AIS data shows.
Natural gas flows from the South Hook LNG terminal to the UK’s national grid on Wednesday morning were 4.93 mcm per day, according to the data from the National Grid.
