Norwegian LNG transportation provider Awilco said it’s 2013-built tanker WilPride has been accepted by the charterer and is set to commence its deployment.

Awilco noted that the TDFE liquefied natural gas carrier capable of transporting up to 156,000 cubic meters of LNG has been inspected and is scheduled to be delivered to its charterer around July 10.

The company previously said that the vessel has been committed on an 8-month time charter deal to an oil and gas major.

To reiterate the time charter is estimated to contribute an annualized EBITDA of about $23 during the charter period.
