Bergen-headquartered shipping company Utkilen said it has taken delivery of Mostraum, the LNG-ready 10,500 DWT chemical tanker.
The vessel, featuring stainless steel cargo tanks was delivered at the end of last month, Utkilen said in its statement.
Mostraum, built by AVIC Dingheng in China, is prepared for dual fuel, with an LNG ready engine as well as prepared for battery pack installation.
The ships are designed for high capacity loading and discharging for fast turnaround time in port and efficient tank cleaning process.
The vessel is designed by FKAB Marine Design in close cooperation with both the owner Utkilen and the Shipyard Avic Dingheng Shipbuilding.
