French Acoustics specialist RTSYS has unveiled its latest micro-AUV named NemoSens.
The micro-AUV NemoSens, less than one meter long, can host any kind of payload, be it a CTD probe, sidescan sonar or any other sensors, the company said.
The AUV can be programmed from a ROS or MOOS interface to complete various kind of missions.
The NemoSens is equipped with a battery that provides wide autonomy (up to 8 hours at 4 knots) with speed range from 2 to 8 knots.
It is also equipped with the navigation integrated INS along with a GPS and a flasher in the mast for smooth recovery.
The NemoSens can fulfill numerous civil applications such as seabed imagery, environmental monitoring or wreckage localization.
