Q-Max LNG carrier Lijmiliya with a cargo from Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG complex is on its way to the UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal.
According to the shipping data by the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 261,700-cbm carrier is scheduled to dock at South Hook terminal’s jetty on Friday, July 26.
The vessel, built by the South Korean shipbuilder Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, was delivered to its owner Nakilat in January 2009. It is currently sailing near the Portuguese shoreline offshore Lisbon, according to the marine data provider VesselsValue. It departed Qatar on July 8.
National Grid’s data shows that gas flows from the Milford Haven LNG terminal into the national transmission system have been at around 10.36 mcm/day during the morning hours of Tuesday, July 23.
The terminal can process 15.6 million tons of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic meters of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
