Marine Power Systems is looking for a design & development engineer with expertise in computational simulation of WEC devices to join its team.

The candidate will be based at the MPS head office in Swansea.

The candidate’s main responsibilities will include carrying out computational simulations of the WaveSub WEC along with ongoing development of the computational models and other simulation and analytical tools.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for data analysis, working with in-house and supplier engineering teams to produce and optimize the accuracy of the simulated data and the creation of development plans for addressing research questions.

MPS requires the candidate to have master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar maths/physics based subject with a minimum of 3 years relevant industrial experience.
