Abu Dhabi-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), in conjunction with its joint venture partner Petrofac, has secured a new contract with Al Yasat Petroleum to provide Front End Engineering Design (FEED) services for the Belbazem Block Development Project, located offshore Abu Dhabi, UAE.
NPCC is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Company that provides total EPC solutions to both the Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas sectors.
Al Yasat Petroleum is an ADNOC Group company and joint venture with China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC). The JV includes two concession blocks, one offshore and one mixed onshore / offshore. The offshore block, in addition to Bu Haseer, includes a number of oil and gas fields currently under appraisal and development including Belbazem, Umm Al Dholou, and Umm Al Salsal.
The scope of work includes the submission of a FEED package and proposal for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the facilities, with the execution of the EPCI work to be awarded on a design competition basis.
