Two dredging vessels, owned by FSUE Rosmorport’s Arkhangelsk, arrived at Sabetta seaport (Yamal) earlier this week to perform scheduled dredging operations in this area.

According to the company’s press center, the trailing suction hopper dredgers Severnaya Dvina and Beloye More will be involved in the dredging operations within water areas of Berths No 2-4, technological berths and the Sabetta access channel.

Under the agreement, FSUE Rosmorport will dredge about 500,000m³ of sediments accumulated between seasons in the navigable areas and to ensure safe navigation depth.

The dredging operations will cover an area of about 4.2km².
