Hydroid Lands US Navy Deal

Hydroid has been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering support and training services for the MK 18 Family of Systems – Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. Hydroid has been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering support and training services for the MK 18 Family of Systems – Unmanned Underwater Vehicles.

This contract is valued at $15.8 million, however it includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $84 million.

Work will be performed in Pocasset, Massachusetts, and is expected to be complete by August 2020.

If options are exercised, work will continue through August 2024.

This contract is awarded on a sole-source basis.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Indian Head, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
