Siem Offshore said it has signed an dal with Nigerian oil and gas services company Marine Platforms for the sale of the vessel Siem Marlin.

The 2009-built vessel is a multi-purpose field and ROV Support Vessel (MRSV) designed to meet the general offshore subsea market.

The agreement is made at market terms and financial details have not been disclosed.

According to Siem, delivery of the vessel to the new owner is scheduled to take place this week.

The vessel is specially designed for ROV & crane operations for seabed duties through moonpool or along ship sides.

MT 6017 MkII designed vessel is 93.6 meters long with accommodation and equipment for 68 persons.
