ROHR-IDRECO Dredge Systems successfully completed the commissioning of a new dredger for their client in Bonita Springs, Florida, earlier this week.
The dredger is equipped with an IDP 450 pump powered by a 750 kW energy efficient permanent magnet underwater motor.
Max. suction depth is 30 meters, said ROHR-IDRECO in its release.
As a special option, the client has chosen to equip the dredger with 2 jet pumps that, in parallel, give the 8 head Jet Head and the single nozzle Waterjet up to 9 bars, or 16 bars when connected in series, of pressure.
This dredger is the first equipped with a new design cabin with comfortable swivel operator seat and air-conditioned.
