Last week IADC’s Ria van Leeuwen visited Mumbai, India, and meet executives from Mumbai Port Trust, DG Shipping, Main Mast Marsec. and B.P. Marine Academy.

During the stay, she informed them about the IADC Seminar on Dredging and Reclamation which comes to Asia in November.

The seminar is set to take place November 26 – 28, 2019 in the Radisson Mumbai Andheri MIDC.

According to IADC, the 3-day course strives to provide an understanding about dredging and reclamation through lectures by experts in the field and workshops.

Some of the subjects that will be covered during the seminar includes an overview of the dredging market, the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ports, types of dredging equipment, site and soil investigations, etc.
