Singapore-based Sembcorp Marine unit Sembcorp Marine Repairs & Upgrades, has added three new LNG projects to its portfolio.
According to the company’s statement, it has won a deal to convert the LNG carrier Dwiputra into 125,000-cbm floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) for a joint venture between Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd (MOL) and Karpower International.
The company has also been contracted for the conversion of NYK Line’s former gas carrier LNG Flora into a 127,000-cbm floating storage unit (FSU) for Gasfin Development.
Additionally, Sembcorp Marine won a deal to carry out upgrading works on the 173,400-cbm FSRU BW Magna for BW LNG.
All three projects will be completed at Sembcorp Marine Admiralty Yard, for delivery between the end of this year and February 2020.
