The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and non-Federal Sponsor, Monroe County, will hold two informational meetings on the Florida Keys Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to learn more about the project alternatives and provide comments on the alternatives and the feasibility study.

The format of the meeting will be an informal open-house hosted by Monroe County, where the public can attend any time during the meeting hours and staff from the Corps of Engineers and Monroe County will be available to answer questions.

USACE is planning to prepare an Environmental Assessment to evaluate environmental impacts from reasonable project alternatives and to determine the potential for significant impacts.
