Hanseatic Power Cert (HPC) has awarded the Merkur offshore wind farm in Germany with a project certificate.

Arjen Schampers, the managing director of Merkur Offshore GmbH, the developer of the project, took over the certificate on 2 September.

To remind, GE Renewable Energy completed the handover of the 66 GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines at the Merkur project at the end of June. The 396MW offshore wind farm, located 45km off the island of Borkum, is expected to be fully commissioned this year.

Merkur Offshore GmbH is a joint venture between Partners Group, InfraRed Capital Partners, DEME Concessions and Coriolis.
