Hyundai Samho nets LNG carrier order for H-Line Shipping

Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, a unit of the South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries, scored an order for a liquefied natural gas carrier.

Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, a unit of the South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries, scored an order for a liquefied natural gas carrier.

The order is valued at 228 billion South Korean won ($191.1 million), the company said in a filing to the stock exchange.

Hyundai is building the vessel for its compatriot shipping company, H-Line Shipping.

The vessel will be capable of transporting 174,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas.

The delivery of the vessel is scheduled for the end of December 2021, the filing reads.
