Matchmaking at OEEC 2019

Offshore Energy offers a complimentary matchmaking program that is available to all attendees of the event.

Offshore Energy offers a complimentary matchmaking program that is available to all attendees of the event. For this program we use the NetworkTables platform that caters both 1-on-1 meetings and round table sessions for 8 participants.

Meetings can be planned online in advance and will take place during the exhibition days (October 8 and 9) in the Matchmaking area at Energy Plaza.

You can participate in Offshore Energy Matchmaking by simply registering for Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference. During registration opt-in for the matchmaking program. After registering you will receive an e-mail with instructions within 20 minutes.

Installation and mooring challenges of marine energy devices

Organizer: Koos Uneken – Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC)

Description: Are you an engineer, supplier, or installation contractor of anchors, mooring services or the like, please join to discuss with Danish Floating Power Plant & Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC) potential ideas and solutions.

Challenges of 66kVA cabling for floating wind/tidal/wave

Description: 66KV AC is the new voltage level for almost all new wind farms. Floating wind and wave cannot adhere to these standard because of the lack of:

– flexible/dynamic cables

– cost effective sliprings/swirls

– cost effective connectors

Round Table Zephyros Data Tower

Organizer: Ferry Visser – Zephyros

Time: October 9, 2019 (11:30-12:30)

Description: The Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference kicks off the collaboration between the British Catapult ORE and the Dutch WCM Fieldlab Zephyros.

Catapult ORE and Zephyros will collaborate in the rollout and support in the Netherlands and Belgium of the data benchmark performance optimization tool SPARTA. Research questions related to Big Data for O&M optimization in offshore wind will be discussed at this round table.
