Fugro is set to carry out surveys at the Beatrice offshore wind farm in Scotland, according to the project’s Notice to Mariners.
Survey vessel Fugro Frontier will conduct surveys of 10 turbines, both offshore transmission modules, 12 inter-array cables and sections of export cables 1 and 2.
Works are due to kick off on 16 October and may last up to five weeks, dependent on the weather conditions.
HRH Prince Charles of Wales officially opened the Beatrice offshore wind farm on 29 July.
Located 13km off the coast of Caithness in the North Sea, the 84-turbine project was completed in June, following ten years of development and construction.
The 588MW wind farm was developed by SSE Renewables (40%), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (35%) and Red Rock Power Limited (25%).
