The trial run of the Balticconnector project’s Inkoo compressor station has been completed, ensuring that the compressor station can be commissioned according to schedule.
Completing the compressor station contributes to getting the entire Balticconnector pipeline up and running according to schedule.
“ The successful trial run is another step forward towards the completion of the project and the opening of the gas market. We are getting closer to the moment when everything is ready for gas to flow between Finland and Estonia at the end of 2019,” says Tom Främling , project director of Baltic Connector Oy.
The Balticconnector pipeline should be fully ready at the end of 2019, and gas will start to flow in the pipeline on January 1, 2020 as the Finnish gas market opens.
