AXYS has appointed Richard Khaira-Creswell as the director of the Project Management Office (PMO) and senior principle metocean engineer.
The PMO at AXYS coordinates efforts company-wide to help the company meet and exceed clients’ Floating LiDAR and Metocean campaign project expectations.
In this role, Richard oversees a team of project managers who work closely with client teams, internal groups and external partners to ensure AXYS provides accurate, reliable and complete data sets during its turnkey data campaigns.

Richard has both the metocean knowledge and “boots on the ground” experience to lead the PMO and make sure we continue to bring the best-in-class value and bankability to our clients’ data campaigns.” Khaira-Creswell is a seasoned metocean project manager with extensive experience with floating LiDAR and metocean technologies used to support key financial, operational and design decisions with robust high-quality data.
A chartered scientist, marine scientist and marine technologist with IMaREST, Richard has a commitment to help advancing the industry. He has previously worked with Fugro and, most recently, Ørsted as senior metocean engineer with the Measurements Team.
