Santos adds to its board of directors

Australian LNG player Santos has named Janine McArdle to its board as a non-executive director with effect from October 23, 2019.

Australian LNG player Santos has named Janine McArdle to its board as a non-executive director with effect from October 23, 2019.

The company said in its statement that with over 30 years of experience in the energy industry in the energy industry across global new business development, engineering, business, risk management and marketing, McArdle appointment further complements and strengthens the Santos board.

McArdle has held senior positions with Apache Corporation, including executive officer, senior vice president global gas monetization, president Kitimat LNG, and vice president worldwide oil and gas marketing.

She is currently CEO and president of Apex Strategies, a global consultancy business providing advisory services to companies engaged in the midstream and downstream sectors of the energy industry and serves on the University of Nebraska College of Engineering advisory board.
