Estonian shipping company Tallink Grupp has chosen a name for its new Tallinn-Helsinki route shuttle vessel, which will be built at Rauma shipyard in Finland.

Tallink said on Monday that the vessel, due to be completed by the end of 2021, would be named MyStar.

The new shuttle ferry will be dual fuel operated, with an overall length of 212 meters and a passenger capacity of 2,800.

The MyStar, with a gross tonnage of approximately 50,000 and a service speed of 27 knots, will use LNG as its main fuel and meet all the current and future known emission regulations.

It is worth reminding that Tallink ordered the vessel from Rauma Marine Constructions back in March 2019 .
