Unmanned Survey Solutions, a company that designs, builds and operates Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) for the survey industry, has won the Cornwall Manufacturing Group Innovation/Improvement Project of the Year Award 2019.
James Williams , director at Unmanned Survey Solutions, said: “We are over the moon to win this award with our Inception Class Unmanned Surface Vessel. The team here have worked extremely hard to bring this innovative USV product to international markets. As a result, we’ve made sales to Norway, the Middle East and the Canadian Arctic.”
Jon Hurrell , CEO of CMG, added: “ The business had overcome many challenges and really put their belief in their product which has been ratified by the market interest and orders developed. It was very encouraging to see the innovation continuing with future models and aspirations for the future under development.”
