Norwegian oil and gas company Equinor has extended contracts for three offshore vessels – one AHTS and two PSVs – of Solstad Offshore.
Solstad Offshore said Wednesday that Equnior had awarded a new one-year contract for the anchor handling vessel (AHTS) Normand Ferking. The oil and gas company will have two one-year extension options as well.
The Normand Ferking contract will start in direct continuation of the current charter, meaning the vessel has a firm contract until November 2020. Normand Ferking has worked for Equinor since its delivery in 2007.
Furthermore, Equnior has declared three yearly options each on supply vessels (PSV) Normand Sun and Normand Sygna extending the contracts firm to July and September 2023, respectively.
Equinor has options to extend both contracts with a further 2 x 1 year. Both vessels have worked for Equinor since delivered from the yard in 2014, Solstad said.
