Wiking Helikopter Service GmbH has signed a multi-year contract with Siemens Gamesa to support wind turbine maintenance on the East Anglia ONE wind farm offshore UK.
Wiking will provide helicopter hoist operations for service technicians and material to Siemens Gamesa’s 102 7MW wind turbines onsite for maintenance services.

The soon-to-commence flight operations will allow Siemens Gamesa to begin timely maintenance Service Level Agreements, Wiking said.
Flights will operate with Airbus Helicopters H145 aircraft, departing from Wiking’s newest UK base in Beccles, to the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm 43 kilometres off the coast.
