China’s COSCO Shipping Lines has established a new subsidiary that would focus on intra-Europe feeder operations.

As explained, Diamond Line GmbH will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chinese giant and is envisioned as a solution to provide a quicker response to the market.

A specific time of the transfer of the services from COSCO to Diamond Line is yet to be announced.

COSCO noted that the carrier code would remain COEU while the sales channel and the network of customer service would remain unchanged.
