Sweden’s Thun Tankers has taken delivery of the third of five L-class product tankers from China’s Avic Dingheng.
The vessel, Thun Liverpool, was delivered on November 12, and will enter into the Gothia Tanker Alliance network with crewing and technical management done by MF Shipping Group.
Thun Liverpool is joining its two sister ships, Thun Lidkoping and Thun London, which were named in March this year.
The 18,650-deadweight L-class series ships have been designed and developed in-house. With a length of 149.8 meters and a width of 22.8 meters, they have a capacity of 21,000 cbm.
They are built to the design focused on energy efficiency, sustainability and new regulations.
