Teekay LNG Partners, one of the world’s largest owners of LNG carriers, has taken delivery of the fifth Arc7 ice breaking LNG newbuild earlier this month.
The company confirmed the delivery of the 50 percent-owned Georgiy Ushakov in its latest quarterly report. It is the fifth out of six LNG carrier newbuilds to be delivered into Teekay LNG Partners’ fleet.
The company noted that the vessel is currently on its way to Sabetta for her first loading at the Yamal LNG facility and will soon embark on her golden voyage.
To remind, the vessel capable of transporting 172,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas is deployed on a 26-year charter deal servicing the Yamal LNG project.
