The offshore safety body said on Friday that the audit, conducted from September 17 to 25, 2019, was focused on integrity and barrier management for risers, valves, piping on the facility, and selected safety systems at Gina Krog.

The audit identified non-conformities regarding follow-up of defined performance requirements, passive fire protection, non-conformity handling, and systematic follow-up of valves.

The PSA told Equinor to report on how it intended to address the non-conformities by December 13, 2019.

As for the field, Gina Krog came on stream in June 2017 . It is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Sleipner and is tied into Sleipner A and uses processing capacity on the platform and existing pipelines for sending the gas to the market in Europe.
