Dutch provider of full-service solutions for transport, handling and storage of subsea cables and flexibles, WIND, is building new cable warehouse in Velsen Noord, The Netherlands.

In close co-operation with its landlord TMA Logistics, WIND has confirmed the design of its new warehouse.

Planned for completion in May 2020, the warehouse will function as WIND’s central European warehouse for all cable related accessories, from where the company will distribute parts to the various European wind farms it supplies.

In addition, the new warehouse will house WIND’s new yard office and offer convenient project work places for its customers and their subcontractors.

“The new warehouse is another step in WIND’s aim towards creating a single cable logistic hub that can serve as the basis for cable repairs,” the company said on its social media.
