Exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States’ facilities increased over the week ending December 18.
Data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that a total of 17 vessels departed the U.S. export facilities with a total cargo carrying capacity of 59 Bcf, during the week under review.
This compares to fourteen vessels with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 51 bcf exported in the previous week.
Out of the seventeen vessels, eight were exported from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility, two each from its Corpus Christi facility, Dominion’s Cove Point, Sempra’s Cameron LNG and the Freeport LNG facility. The remaining cargo was shipped from the Elba Island facility.
Three vessels, one each at Sabine Pass, Corpus Christi, and Freeport were loading on Wednesday, EIA said.
EIA noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals have increased compared to the previous week reaching 8 Bcf/day, up from 7.9 Bcf/d.
