Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum has opened a tender seeking CPS retrofit and bolt exchange services for the Trianel Windpark Borkum offshore wind project.

The awarded company will be in charge of subsea works on CPS retrofits and subsea bolt exchanges at diffusor plates, i.e. steel plate under the central column of the tripod foundation.

The scope includes the installation of corrective and preventive CPS retrofit at two wind turbine locations, as well as the exchange of bolts and shim flange gaps at four locations.

The contract is set to begin on 1 May 2020 and end on 31 December the same year.

The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 27 January 2020 by 12:00 local time.

The first Trianel Windpark Borkum phase comprises 40 5MW Adwen turbines which have been operational since 2015. Trianel Windpark Borkum II, currently under construction , will add 32 Senvion 6.2M152 turbines scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2020.
