Monaco-based LNG shipper GasLog said its newbuild, HN2213 is set to start week-long sea trials.

The vessel, to be named GasLog Windsor is being built at South Korean shipbuilder, Samsung Heavy Industries.

In a brief statement through its social media channels, GasLog said the yard will test all of the vessel’s systems and capabilities at sea.

GasLog Windsor, powered by a low-pressure dual-fuel engine, is capable of transporting 180,000 cubic meters of the chilled fuel and upon delivery will be chartered to Pioneer Shipping Limited, a unit of UK-based Centrica.

The shipper signed a charter deal with Centrica for an initial period of about seven years.
