Burckhardt Compression said it has been awarded a five-year service agreement covering nine LNG carriers with a total of 12 Laby-GI Compressors onboard.
The new long-term service agreement (LTSA) will bring improved lifecycle costs, operational efficiency and accurate preventive maintenance to the customer, Burckhardt Compression said in its statement without naming the customer company.
The scope of the LTSA covers scheduled maintenance parts of the compressors, dedicated supervision, preventive maintenance via remote diagnostics, field services, and project management over a period of five years.
Compressor maintenance will be carried out during vessel operation for maximum efficiency, Burckhardt Compression’s statement reads.
All nine LNG carriers are ME-GI powered and equipped with Laby-GI Compressors for BOG management.
