Polish sole liquefied natural gas (LNG) import facility, the President Lech Kaczyński terminal in Świnoujście, has received a new cargo on Wednesday.

Polish LNG terminal operator, Polskie LNG, said via social media that the delivery came to the facility onboard the LNG carrier Maran Gas Apollonia capable of transporting 161,941 cubic meters of the chilled fuel.

It was the 85th delivery since the project started operation, the operator said. It also added that it has unloaded almost 16 million cubic meters of LNG to date.

AIS data provided by VesselsValue shows that the cargo was loaded at Dominion’s Cove Point LNG facility in Maryland.

Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) is in charge of all the LNG supplies coming to the import terminal operated by Gaz-System’s unit Polskie LNG.

In its statement, PGNiG confirmed that the cargo, seventh of the year to unload at the facility, has been Sourced from the United States. It also noted that the Maran Gas Apollonia delivered about 75,000 cubic meters of LNG which is approximately 90 million cubic meters of natural gas following regasification.
