Oceanteam Solutions has secured a three-year contract to rent its 4000Te carousel for Global Marine Group’s vessel.

According to Oceanteam, the 4000Te carousel will be customized with a smaller basket and grillage outer diameter to fit the vessel.

The company has already started on the engineering and modification of the carousel.

Mobilization and demobilization of the equipment are taking place at Oceanteam’s base in Velsen, the Netherlands.

There are options to extend the agreement for a total of five years.

“We are very pleased that this new client has entrusted us with this significant long-term contract. Our skilled team is committed to deliver the equipment on time and customised to client’s needs, supporting a successful operation,” said Lars van ‘t Kruijs , Oceanteam Solutions.

Global Offshore, part of Global Marine Group, recently added offshore installation and construction vessel Normand Clipper to its fleet.

The company shortly after announced it had awarded Royal IHC with a contract to design and deliver an integrated power cable lay spread for the newly chartered vessel.
