Exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States’ export facilities declined over the past week.
The United States Energy Information Administration data shows that a total of fifteen liquefied natural gas cargoes was exported from the U.S. liquefaction and export plants.
The fifteen tankers leaving the United States between February 27 and March 4, had a combined cargo-carrying capacity of 53 Bcf.
Out of the fifteen cargoes, six vessels departed Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility, three were exported from the Freeport LNG plant while two cargoes have been shipped from Corpus Christi, Cameron and Cove Point LNG plants.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals slipped compared to the previous week reaching 8.1 Bcf/day, down from 8.8 Bcf/d.
