Liquefied natural gas exports from facilities located in the United States has seen a drop over the period between March 5 to March 11.
Data from the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that over the period under review a total of 14 cargoes have been exported.
The combined carrying capacity of the vessels departing was 51 billion cubic feet of liquefied natural gas. This compares to 15 cargoes with a total LNG-carrying capacity of 53 Bcf departing in the previous week.
Out of the 14 vessels, seven departed Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility. Corpus Christi, Cameron LNG and Freeport LNG facilities exported two cargoes each while a single cargo left Dominion’s Cove Point LNG plant in Maryland.
One vessel was also loading at the Cameron LNG facility in Hackberry, Louisiana.
EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals edged down compared to the previous week reaching 8.0 Bcf/day, down from 8.1 Bcf/d.
