Exports of liquefied natural gas from the United States edged up over the period between March 12 and March 18, 2020.

Data from the United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that a total of 16 LNG cargoes departed the U.S. facilities during the said period.

The sixteen vessels had a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 59 Bcf. This compares 14 cargoes with a combined carrying capacity of 51 Bcf, shipped in the previous week.

Out of the 16 cargoes, five were shipped from Sabine Pass, three from each Cameron, Corpus Christi, and Freeport LNG facilities and two from Cove Point.

EIA further noted that natural gas deliveries to liquefied natural gas export terminals remained flat for the week reaching 8 Bcf/d.
