Klaipedos Nafta, Lithuanian oil and LNG terminal operator, said that the Covid-19 effects have not slowed down operations.

In its statement, Klaipedos Nafta said that during the past week two oil tankers and two LNG cargoes were accepted at its terminals with further two LNG cargoes set to arrive during the current week.

The company has adopted a range of health safety precautions for its employees and partners and is continuing its operations as normal.

The company is monitoring the situation and maintains close communication with major clients, suppliers and partners on a regular basis concerning their plans and fulfilment of contractual obligations. Up to date, the service takes place according to the agreed schedules and plans.

Although the company has not been instantly impacted economically by the quarantine inflicted repercussions, it is monitoring global economic development and possible long-term financial impact.

According to the Klaipedos Nafta management’s assessment, currently, there are no well-established grounds for severe concerns.
