CWind Taiwan, part of Global Marine Group, has taken steps in line with guidelines recently issued by the Taiwanese government and its UK parent company to cope with the effects of the now global COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to complying with the government’s health and safety advice, the company said it was also implementing additional precautionary measures to protect the health of its staff and clients.

CWind Taiwan added that it was also working on minimising any impact on its business and on continuing to support its client’s operations and projects.
“In light of the Taiwanese government’s recent announcement of enhanced restrictions on incoming foreigners without resident visa, and the application of mandatory quarantine on all inbound visitors, we are in dialogue with the relevant government departments and adapting our project planning to minimise any disruption to projects and clients. In the case of specific ongoing live projects, we will continue to maintain regular direct communications with our customers,” CWind Taiwan stated.
The precautionary measures the company is taking range from remote working of office employees on a rotation basis, through Management Team and HSE Manager monitoring all shore staff, offshore crew and passengers’ health condition every day, to daily deep clean on all sites, offices, and vessels.
All non-business-critical travel has been cancelled, including visitors to CWind Taiwan sites and locations, and all travel including change of vessel crew or passenger onboard CTVs needs to be approved by Management and HSE teams.
