Oil and gas contractor Worley has secured a services contract extension with Chevron for the company’s Australian assets including Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects.

The term is for two years and extends upon the initial contract first awarded in 2013, Worley said in its statement on Tuesday.

Under the contract, Worley will provide engineering and procurement services to support Chevron’s Australian assets, including the Gorgon LNG and Wheatstone LNG projects. Services typically include delivery of brownfield modification projects and operational support.

The services will continue to be executed from Worley’s Perth office with support from the company’s global businesses, including its delivery offices in India.
