Pipeshield is making headway on one of its subsea asset protection projects at UK supply base in Montrose.
This week, the company completed the loadout of 350 concrete mattresses and also 34 precise rock placement units (PRPs) for a European subsea interconnector project.
Pipeshield is Tekmar ’s asset protection specialist which secured 20 new projects in the first quarter 2020 .
These multi-million-dollar total value awards include clients in the UK, Europe, US, Middle East and Asia.
Amongst the awards is a contract to supply over 90 PRPs to the marine civils market in the UK.
In addition, Pipeshield has picked up contracts in the offshore oil and gas market as well as offshore wind markets.
