IMCA has appointed Mark de Barr as technical adviser – marine specialising in dynamic positioning and vessel assurance.
Mark de Barr has joined as freelance consultant engineer providing project management, inspections, audits and marine warranty services.
His career has encompassed roles with Bue Marine, GEO Marine, Swire Pacific Offshore, Sealion, Gulf Offshore.
Technical director at IMCA, Mark Ford , stated:

He is a Chartered Engineer, a European Engineer and is also a Chief Engineer.
